My first attempt at a serious post here. The last week was spent juggling all the technical balls to make the site look decent.
Okie, how to live forever? What a question! We all know that no one and nothing last forever. But let me tell you the story I just read. Borrowed it for my son but the book tittle just teased me so much that I could not help reading it.

'To live forever is not to live at all'
It’s about a boy, Peter, who together with his cat named Brian set out to search for a lost book in the library where Peter and Brian lived. They kept searching and searching until their efforts led them to a place that looked like paradise.
There Peter saw four old men who knew that he was coming for the lost book ‘How to Live Forever, or Immortality for Beginners.
Having seen the book shown to him by the old men, Peter said to them:
‘It doesn’t work, does it?’
‘Oh yes, it works,” one of the old men said, then they led Peter through a Chinese garden (boy, anything is Chinese these days) to see the ‘Ancient Child’.
The Ancient Child immediately said to Peter: ”You mustn’t read it. It will drive you mad.”
He continued: ”I was younger than you when I found it and I couldn’t read it fast enough.
”Then while my friends grew up I stayed like this.
”They grow out of toys and fell in love. They married and had children and all I could do was sit and watch.
”Now I am frozen in time.”
Then the Ancient Child concluded: ”To live forever is not to live at all. That’s why I hid the book.”
Peter asked him why he did not just burn the book.
Can you guess why?
